"Marketing is fundamental to any businesses growth and drives consumer awareness of the products/services through marketing techniques; if a business does not pay attention to their products/services and their consumers' demographics, the business would not be able to endure longevity."
I don't know that this qualifies as a famous quote but somehow a version of it found its way into Wikipedia. I find it amusing because it is a fancy summary of the basic elements of marketing:
Who is your customer? What do they want? How do we get them interested? And ultimately, how can your business survive - really thrive - without knowing the answers to these questions.
